1. Data Controller & Scope of Policy

HireeBridge ("we", "our", or "the Platform") provides structured virtual internship pathways, project evidence documentation workspaces, and partner credential facilitation services. This Privacy Policy details our practices concerning the collection, storage, use, disclosure, and protection of personal and technical information gathered through HireeBridge and associated services.

By accessing the platform, registering an account, or completing an enrollment checkout, you explicitly consent to the data practices described herein.

2. Categories of Information Collected

To deliver structured curriculum, issue official credentials, and maintain verification compliance, we collect the following categories of information:

• Account & Enrollment Identification: Full legal name, verified email address, contact telephone number, selected academic domain, country of residence, and enrollment order identifier.
• Project Evidence & Academic Deliverables: Public or private GitHub repository URLs, source code commits, project summaries, system synopses, and public LinkedIn showcase URLs submitted by the student.
• Payment Transaction Data: Transaction tokens, gateway order IDs, and payment statuses provided by authorized third-party payment providers (e.g. Razorpay). HireeBridge does not directly store, process, or retain credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or NetBanking credentials on platform servers.
• Telemetry & Access Logs: IP address, browser type, operating system, timestamped session tokens, and cryptographic request verification headers.

3. Lawful Basis and Purpose of Processing

We process personal data under applicable data protection frameworks, including the Information Technology Act 2000 (India), the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011, and globally aligned data protection standards:

• Fulfillment of contractual obligations to grant curriculum access and generate academic credentials.
• Facilitation of tamper-proof credential verification with partner issuer GreyRocks Digital Engineering.
• Prevention of plagiarism, credential falsification, and fraudulent activity.
• Operational communications, system status notifications, and customer support resolution.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties & Verification Partners

We strictly do NOT sell, rent, or trade student personal information to commercial advertising networks or data brokers. Disclosures are restricted strictly to:

• Credential Issuing Partner (GreyRocks): Student name, domain, completion date, and unique credential ID are transmitted to GreyRocks Digital Engineering to generate cryptographic verification records and QR validation destinations.
• Authorized Payment Gateways: Name, email, and transaction amount are transmitted securely to payment gateways under strict PCI-DSS compliance.
• Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Where compelled by valid subpoena, statutory authority, or court order under prevailing law.

5. Cloud Infrastructure & Security Measures

Data is stored in high-availability, encrypted cloud infrastructure powered by Neon Cloud PostgreSQL (hosted in secure AWS data centers) with SSL/TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Platform passwords are cryptographically hashed using salted SHA-256 routines.

6. Data Retention & User Rights

Students retain the right to inspect their personal record, update contact parameters, and access generated credentials in perpetuity. Credential verification records are permanently archived to guarantee that university reviewers or prospective employers can independently confirm certificate authenticity indefinitely.
